The Burst Your Bubble TV mission is to encourage thinking outside of the box with regards to individual and environmental health. Through the website “Burstyourbubble.ca” and corresponding IPhone application we are creating a social media portal/launch pad to start an educational dialogue with our audience about how our choices, influence and affect individual and environmental health. There is a 3 year plan in place to develop an interactive/social media driven website, and an interactive iPhone application which will be the platforms used to obtain the content for a documentary. The documentary will expose the stories told by our audience participants and what they are doing about “It”. It being the current condition of our individual, societal and environmental health.

Our goals are:

• to educate our audience about how to prevent diseases of affluence ( cancer, heart disease, diabetes, osteoporosis, arthritis etc.) through proper nutrition rooted in sustainability.
• to enable our audience to take ownership of their own health and make positive changes with the assistance of our iPhone application.
• to make the process innovative and interactive by obtaining the majority of the content from our audience submissions, through the use of the IPhone application and through social media voting.
• to revamp and remodel the existing documentary style by making its educational information positive and entertaining.
